So, after a lot of consideration and me being incredibly wishy-washy and changing my mind about five dozen times (just ask ![[info]](http://img.greatestjournal.com/userinfo.gif) sassylime), I've decided to switch my icon journal from this community to eronn.
All the icons posted here will remain here, but not all of my icons will be transferred over. Some I'm planning on re-doing, but others will just remain here. I'll also be using eronn as my catch-all icon journal, so if I de-friend you on eronn_actually and then friend you on eronn, it's simply because I want to keep track of icons all in one place.

Yes, I realize I skipped May. I will probably not do this every month because I'm lazy, but here goes...
The featured icon maker for June, 2007 is xxxholic @ ![[info]](http://img.greatestjournal.com/community.gif) calculusreview.
I first found her icons through pb_updates when she posted icons of Chewbacca. And since I have two little sisters who are currently obsessing over Star Wars, that cracked me up. A lot.
And then I took a gander at some of her (at least, I think it's a her. If it's not, I apologize.) other icons, which are great. I especially like Kaya Scodelario and Anna Chulmsky. She's also got tons of younger PB choices. |

Hi everyone! I don't know if this will be of any use/interest to anyone, but I've been contemplating it for awhile and it's a lazy Saturday afternoon, so I figured I would write it.
This is a step-by-step guide on how I make the icons you see posted here. Is this the ultimate guide to making icons? Absolutely not. Different people like to make icons different ways, and my hope is that you will find something useful that you can take and apply to your icons.
We're going to go from this picture to this icon, using Photoshop 7.
